Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Our commitment. PriorAuthAppeal is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to continually improve the user experience for everyone.
What we've implemented
- Color contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimum ratios for body text and UI controls
- All form fields have associated visible labels readable by screen readers
- The site is fully navigable using a keyboard alone — no mouse required
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page
- Semantic HTML5 structure with logical heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3)
- Alternative text on informative images; decorative icons hidden from assistive technology
- Form errors announced via
role="alert"witharia-liveregions - Page titles unique to each route
- Language declared via
<html lang="en">
Standards we reference
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3C)
- Section 508 — US Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended
- Israeli Standard IS 5568 — equivalent to WCAG 2.0 AA, as required under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013
Limitations and ongoing work
We are working toward full conformance. The PDF documents we produce (appeal letter, summary, and document checklist) are not yet fully tagged for screen-reader compatibility — this is on our roadmap. If you need an accessible plain-text or HTML version of your appeal letter, email hello@priorauthappeal.com after delivery and we will provide it within one business day, at no additional charge.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on this site or in our documents, please contact us at hello@priorauthappeal.com with the subject "Accessibility". Please include:
- The URL of the page where you encountered the issue
- The device, operating system, and browser you were using
- The assistive technology you were using (if any) — e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack
- A brief description of the barrier
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 3 business days and to remediate confirmed issues within 30 days where technically feasible. Where a fix takes longer, we will provide an interim accommodation on request.
